Nontoxic Media Announces New AI Media Monitoring Tech for Democrats
Unlocking the Internet: Content Digests from Nontoxic Media
If you want to track the manosphere—we built the tool to do it.
We’re Nontoxic Media, a progressive media and technology company founded in 2024 by two alums of the Warren for President campaign in response to the reelection of Donald Trump. Our mission is to help Democrats use emerging platforms—like YouTube, TikTok, Rumble, and podcasts—to build movements and win elections.
Over the last year, we’ve built a comprehensive media monitoring tool—Sonar—that uses AI to transcribe, summarize, and analyze digital content. We began developing Sonar in December 2024 and debuted it at Netroots Nation 2025 as part of Higher Ground Labs’ New Tools Showcase. Now, we’re excited to introduce our newest Sonar-powered service—Content Digests; Custom reports that use LLMs (large language models) to transcribe and summarize video and audio content from across the creator Internet.
The New York Times built this for its reporters. Today, we’re offering it to you. We provide media monitoring across platforms, including Apple Podcasts, YouTube, TikTok, and Rumble (the YouTube lookalike for the alt-right), making large swaths of the Internet accessible to research, communications, and media teams. These new offerings bring extensive analyses of those platforms right to your inbox.
